Event description

It’s 50 years since the Collegians of the Class of 1976 began their final year at St Paul’s. Nineteen Collegians and their partners are gathering at Tihoi and Wairakei Resort to celebrate their Golden Jubilee and share memories and merriment.

You can choose to attend from Friday through Sunday, or to join fellow Collegians for an early round of golf Saturday morning, or just attend the Gala Dinner on Saturday night. Please register by booking for the Gala Dinner.

Friday 20 March 

Tihoi Experience

• Midday – Collegians' arrival at Tihoi Venture School
• Refreshments on the deck 
• 12:30 pm – Official welcome from Tihoi Director
• Campus Tour
• Short walk into the Pureora forest
• 2:00 pm – Lunch on the deck

Wairakei Resort

• 5:00 pm – Welcome Drinks in the Geyser Bar
• 6:30 pm – Informal A-la-Carte Dinner in the Geyser Eatery

Saturday 21 March

Collegians ‘Golden Jubilee’ Golf Tournament

The Gentlemen – Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary

• First tee-off 09:24; The Gentlemen will enjoy 18 holes at Wairakei’s unique golfing experience on a world-class 18-hole championship course set within a predator-free wildlife sanctuary.
• The Players – Wairakei Resort Public 9 Hole Golf Course
• First tee-off 10:00; The Players will enjoy a more relaxed stroll around the 9-hole course across the road from the resort.  Renowned as one of the best 9-holes in New Zealand, the 1,941 metre course is a par 34, with the longest hole measuring 366 metres

Happy Hour

• 5:00 pm – drinks on the Front Lawn of the Fairways Nightclub, Wairakei Resort
• Gala Dinner at the Fairways Nightclub, Wairakei Resort7:00pm till late
