Event description

It has been 50 years since the Class of 1976 left St Paul’s. It’s time to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate together. Partners are warmly invited to attend this special reunion, which is driven by Collegians from the class of 1976 with the support of Collegians Inc.

You can choose to join from Friday through Sunday to include the visit to Tihoi and Friday evening gathering, or come along from Saturday through Sunday for golf, the Gala Dinner, and brunch to close the weekend.

Please indicate your attendance by purchasing a ticket to the Gala Dinner and/or the Tihoi Lunch. Accommodation must be booked separately (details below). 

Programme

Friday 20 March 

• 11:00 am meet for lunch and a visit to Tihoi Venture School (self-drive, ~40 minutes from Taupō).
• Check in at Wairakei Resort for those staying Friday and Saturday night.
• Happy Hour meet and greet at the bar.
• Informal dinner at the resort (own cost).

Saturday 21 March

• Golf options of either: Wairakei International Golf Course ($260 affiliated player fee, pay on the day) or 9-hole course (complimentary for resort guests). 
• Check in at Wairakei Resort for those staying Saturday night.
• Evening Gala Dinner in the Fairways Café at Wairakei Resort (private function space, 6.00 pm–11.30 pm) $45 per head for dinner (drinks an additional cost). This meal is subsidised by the Collegians Committee.

Sunday 22 March

• Brunch and farewells.

Accommodation

Rooms have been reserved at Wairakei Resort Taupō for those who want to stay with the group. Twenty rooms have been held for Saturday evening. If you wish to stay longer, you can book additional nights directly when you make the booking. Booking must be made by 11 October, after which time, the rooms will be released. People are welcome to find their own accommodation elsewhere if desired and can still attend the Gala Dinner on Saturday.
