Sam Mathers is a Raglan-based artist whose work, shaped by his years handling masterpieces at Sotheby’s and creating murals in New Zealand and abroad, has been exhibited widely and collected internationally. His art acts as a visual diary of travel and everyday life, blending graphic elements, playful scale, and layered meanings to create vibrant, character-filled works.
Sam is a Collegian of St Paul’s Collegiate School (Hall 1998 - 2002).
