Brenda Jean Sporle (Staff 1991–2000) passed away on 9 October 2025, aged 94. Brenda served St Paul’s with care and dedication in both her roles as Harington Matron and School Nurse, supporting and nurturing countless students during her decade at the school. Her connection to St Paul’s continued through her son, Andrew (Williams 1977–1982).

Beloved wife of the late Peter Sporle. Cherished mother of Wendy, Peter, Judith, and Andrew, and a much-loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
