Paul Grinder

Paul Grinder (Sargood 1975-1979) passed away on 26 May 2022.  His service in Tauranga was attended by family and a host of colleagues from the screen industry who held him in high regard.  

Paul was a long-time member of DEGANZ, and a highly experienced Assistant Director, Second Unit Director, and later Producer working on films and series including Spartacus, Power Rangers, River Queen, Black Sails, Colony, and Lost in Space.

During his time at St Paul's, he played cricket, was in the First XV, school production, and was Sargood Head of House.
