Born on May 12, 1937, Margaret left us peacefully on July 6, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends, at the age of 87.

Margaret was a cherished mother to Raewyn, Angela, and James (deceased), and a loving Nana to six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the cornerstone of their lives.

Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious sense of humour, Margaret had an incredible ability to make everyone smile. She was always ready for a laugh and loved a good party. Her love for bright colours and flowers reflected her personality; she was never one to wear black, preferring instead to brighten the lives of those around her with her colourful attire and beautiful flower arrangements.

Margaret's time at St Paul's was marked by her dedication and love for the staff and students. She had a unique gift for connecting with people, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence.

A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at St Paul's in the Chapel of Christ the King at 11:00 am on 2 August. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honouring her memory.
