Collegians |
Collegian and dedicated St Paul’s Collegiate School supporter Jon Tanner (Hamilton 1973-1977), has been a key figure in the sport of hockey for more than 40 years. A former player for the New Zealand Men’s Hockey team, Jon has championed the growth of the sport since his debut in 1982.
Instrumental in establishing Midlands Hockey as one of New Zealand’s top regions, Jon’s latest venture involves spearheading the reintroduction of the Premier Hockey League with the launch of the region’s new franchise, the Mavericks.
“As proud supporters of the Mavericks, Craigs Investment Partners is committed to supporting our community’s future, creating pathways for local youth, and inspiring the next generation of athletes and leaders. Our values of teamwork, perseverance, and community spirit are perfectly aligned with this team’s vision,” Jon shares.
